Take the Land back from the Catholic Church
*Trigger Warning* Pedophilia, rape, gang rape, Catholic church, gaslighting, colonial trauma, schoolchildren being abused, suicide
Screenshot Image description: Article screenshot. Headline reads: “Australian School apologies for 'suggestive' saint statue”. Article is dated below headline as November 22nd 2017. Picture below shows the statue unveiled on the left and covered up on the right. Beige stone statue is of two figures. One is an adult prominently featured in Catholic monk robes holding a loaf of bread at his groin as if it’s a penis. A small possibly naked child (it’s difficult to be sure they’re completed naked from this angle but definitely partially unclothed on their torso) stands closely next to him on the side. The child has their hands held out under the “loaf of bread”, as if begging for it. Picture on the right shows the top part of the statue covered by a black cloth, obscuring both the adult’s torso and waist and child’s hands.
For years now we have seen an exposure of the Catholic church’s child abuse in the USA with reports of widespread pedophilia. Canada’s Truth and Reconciliation committee held hearings between 2008 and 2015 that shone some light on what had happened in their residential schools to Indigenous children at the hands of Catholic priests and nuns.
More recently in 2021, there were outraged protests from First Nations as bodies were found of Indigenous children who were tortured and raped and murdered and denied medicine in Catholic boarding schools in Canada. Some childrens’ remains were unearthed, ceremonies were held, and those ancestors remains were allowed to go home to their people after decades of being hidden by their abusers.
During this time, I sat in circle with some residential school survivors and their descendants who shared horrifying memories and the trauma that had passed down in their communities.
We will continue to see protests as more evidence surfaces in the US and Canada regarding this abuse.
The evidence, however, is not just in the US and Canada. It is all over the Americas, Africa, Asia, the Indian subcontinent, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and on and on. It is all over the world. The Catholic Church wrecked this violence against children everywhere they went.
The heartbreaking extent of the child abuse has still not been fully exposed, and there’s no way of knowing if it ever will be either in Canada or anywhere else. You can read about the historic details we currently know of that child abuse in this article right here.
Meanwhile, do you know what the Catholic church is doing in response? The Catholic church is doubling down on their abusive activities and pretending to be surprised when they are called out.
Screenshot Image description: A picture of the statue from the front shows an adult prominently featured in Catholic monk robes holding a loaf of bread in front of his groin area as if it’s a penis. A small half naked child stands closely next to him on the side looking up at him. The child has their hands held out under the “loaf of bread”, as if reaching to touch it.
This statue, supposedly of a Catholic “saint” holding out food to a child, was commissioned for a school. The Catholic school authorities approved its design. They took its delivery. They installed this statue in 2017 in their school full of children in Adelaide Australia. They didn’t see anything wrong with it at all.
Only after the statue was criticized by the public for being obviously pedophiliac — the “saint” is holding the loaf in front of his groin as if it’s a penis while the half naked child “begs” beneath him — did the school remove the statue.
That means that if the public hadn’t criticized it, they would have kept the statue exactly as it is, brazen pedophiliac messaging and all in 2017.
The Catholic child abuse agenda has always been brazen and public, though. In my article "Italians are White", I traced it all the way back to their very beginning as the Roman state religion. If you haven't read that article yet, you really should. Pedophile priests didn’t just pop up out of nowhere in the 1960s — although that’s what they want you to think. I go into the details of this and what to do about it in my Imperialism course.
Meanwhile, the new Pope Leo has set himself up as a critic of Donald Trump’s immigration policies. Did you know that Pope Leo has been accused of mishandling investigations into accused Catholic priests in Chicago and Peru? He was accused six weeks before he was elected Pope. He was still elected.
“[…] Prevost allowed a priest accused of abusing at least 13 minors to live at the Augustinian order’s St. John Stone Friary in Hyde Park, half a block from St. Thomas the Apostle Elementary School.”
“In April 2022, three women filed a complaint to Prevost accusing two priests there of sexual abuse beginning in 2007, when they were minors, as reported by The Pillar […]”
“SNAP’s March 25 complaint alleges that Prevost, as bishop, failed to open an investigation, properly inform civil prosecutors, or restrict the priests involved.”
Pope Leo is the latest in a long line of Catholic Pope’s just like this.
The one before him, Pope Francis, pardoned a bunch of pedophile priests in 2014 on the grounds of "mercy" and "clemency" proving that he had no mercy or clemency for survivors or their families. He even demanded that the survivors show proof they’d been abused otherwise their accusations were “slander”. Because as we all know, children being abused by religious authority figures in a church or a school are going to have audio recorders, cameras, and witnesses on hand to prove the trauma they’ve gone through.
Demanding “proof” from survivors of systemic child sex abuse is callous in the extreme from the good “father”.
Screenshot Image description: Extract from article. Black text on white background. Text reads: “One case has come back to haunt him: An Italian priest who received the pope’s clemency was later convicted by an Italian criminal court for his sex crimes against children as young as 12. The Rev. Mauro Inzoli is now facing a second church trial after new evidence emerged against him, The Associated Press has learned.”
It was Pope Francis who appointed the now Pope Leo “as Bishop of the diocese of Chiclayo, in northwestern Peru” where he “mishandled” some of these investigations. The survivors call it “mishandling” but I’ll use the word coverup because that’s my opinion.
Pope Benedict before Pope Francis de-frocked at least 400 priests for sexually abusing children (most sources say 400 but this one says 800). This was during the height of the church pedophile scandal, of course, where the church had to be seen as doing something about this problem. The truth, however, is that neither 400 priests nor 800 priests is anything in the grand scheme of things. It’s a drop in the ocean of systemic child sex abuse that is the Catholic church.
As of 2018, there were 414,969 Catholic priests (translation: Church sanctioned alleged child abusers) running around the planet. There are also 5,353 bishops worldwide who have been industrious in protecting the exposed child abusers under their command which means they’re accomplices (church sanctioned alleged child abusers). There are also other bishops, Cardinals, nuns, deacons, seminaries, missionaries, and on and on (church sanctioned possible child abusers).
An Australian inquiry stated that 1 in 14 priests was likely a pedophile. Here’s a database of all the Catholic authority figures accused around the world. There’s a giant list of church sanctioned possible child abusers all over the world backed by a well funded global protection apparatus to shield them from accountability.
It could even be that some of those 400 Catholic priests Pope Benedict defrocked took the so-called “punishment” at their own request, which would make it not a punishment. Catholic priests aren't allowed to marry, you see but this Catholic priest in India petitioned the High Court to be allowed to marry his victim to gain access to the child born to her.
Screenshot Image description: Black text on a white background showing a news article link. Headline reads: “Kerala Catholic priest wants to marry his rape victim…” It’s underlined in yellow by me. Link is for gulfnews.com. Text below reads: “Kochi: Kerala Catholic priest Robin Vadakkumchery, 52, sentenced to 20 years in jail in three different cases of rape and abuse of a minor, has moved the Kerala High Court seeking to marry the…”
So Pope Benedict de-frocking 400 child rapists, some of whom may have wanted to be defrocked, was hardly a giant leap for humanity when all it did was allow them to continue harming children. It was, however, a token gesture of believing survivors and admission of institutional responsibility, unlike Pope Francis who demanded proof and then quietly gave clemency to child abusers.
Meanwhile, Catholic priests in Argentina were caught raping deaf children. Official documents record that these Argentinian priests targeted the most vulnerable and submissive of deaf children for their crimes. “The Mendoza victims told how, as children, they had been forbidden from using sign language so they could not communicate what was being done to them.”
Pope Francis was from Argentina. These rapists were his brethren. Do you think he didn't notice what his brethren were doing to the most vulnerable children in their power? Pope Francis’ own mentor was accused of child sex abuse. Do you really think he didn’t notice what his own mentor was doing, or that he’d been accused of the worst crime in the world?
Of course he noticed. How could the “Father” not notice when child abuse is the bedrock foundation of “Holy Mother” church?
Screenshot Image description: Black text on a white background showing a news article link. Headline reads: “Argentina: Catholic priests jailed for abusing deaf children”. Link is for bbc.com. Text below reads: “A court in Argentina has sentenced two Roman Catholic priests to more than 40 years in prison for sexually abusing deaf children at a church school. Horacio Corbacho and Nicola Corradi, as well as...”
Child abuse is so institutionalized in the Catholic church that it’s tradition for these priests to confess their crimes to each other, knowing that their fellow priests will never violate the “sanctity” of the confessional by telling law enforcement. You see, the Catholic church is perfectly willing to violate a child’s body and mind but not the confession box. They call that “believing in God” and “keeping their oath”. I call it “rape culture”, “coverup”, and “criminal gang code of silence”.
Meanwhile, if a Catholic priest has confessed to another Catholic priest then according to their religion, they’re clean of sin and free to go about sinning again in time for the next confession. What a convenient system to have in place for a criminal network. No one ever has to actually be accountable for their crimes (while the children they systematically abuse are blamed and gaslit for those crimes) and no one goes to jail (except the abused children who live in a prison of trauma) and everyone’s confessed so they’re going to heaven (except the children who live in the hell of abuse and PTSD). It’s a win win win for the Catholic church.
Pope Francis and his emphasis on mercy and clemency for pedophile rapists was truly brutal when considering how little mercy or clemency he seemed to have for survivors and particularly for those victims who don’t survive the abuse. An example would be the 14-year-old Bangladeshi girl who committed suicide in 2011 after being gang-raped by a Catholic priest and nine other members of that church when she was 13 years old. Where was the mercy and clemency for her from Pope Francis, darling of the social justice movement?
When it emerged in 2017 that Pope Francis had pardoned pedophiles (despite masses of evidence stacked against them) he admitted that he had made a mistake in pardoning one pedophile in particular and that he wouldn't do the same thing again. You might have noticed, as I did, that this is much like how exposed pedophiles tend to react. In the face of mounting evidence, they admit to the mistake of abusing children but promise that they won't do it again.
And people just believed Pope Francis. He didn’t believe the children but the whole world believed him. Because rich white male Christian supremacist privilege is real.
In 2021, Pope Francis admitted that he’d not actually done anything about systemic child abuse in the Catholic church and that it was a problem with the whole church. He went on to speak about how it was such a heavy burden on him as if he was the victim, not the children. Meanwhile, he had all the power in the world to take action because he was the Pope, head of the largest pedophile ring and child abuse network on the planet.
Did you know that Vatican City, where Pope Francis reigned as all powerful monarch, has set the age of consent as 14-years-old for girls and as 16-years-old for boys? That’s institutionalized child sex abuse brazenly masquerading in public as law. It’s also clear that the deck is clearly stacked against girls. Nothing is mentioned about queer and trans children, of course, who are considered as going to hell by church doctrine anyway.
What does this tell us about the Catholic church as a whole? It tells us that this institution and it’s “progressive” leadership is rotten to the core, while putting on a face of martyrdom when their crimes are exposed. Incidentally, “martyrdom” is the crux of the entire Catholic and Christian doctrine. They couldn’t and wouldn’t exist without martyrdom as their toxic excuse for everything. So I guess Pope Francis’ “heavy burden” counted as both martyrdom and confession and he went to heaven according to their beliefs.
What a heaven, filled with pedophiles, child abusers, and their accomplices.
The Catholic church has a conservative estimated public net worth of $30 billion. It is likely much more with calculations being impossible to make because of all their dark money, their organized crime affiliations, and their financial holdings in Black and Brown lands that they continue to colonize. Some people vaguely say Catholic church wealth is in the hundreds of billions of dollars but no one can put a definite number on it.
Meanwhile, in 2020 the Catholic church took $1.5 billion of US pandemic stimulus money. People were and are starving on the streets in this country. So many people were and are houseless and more are becoming houseless every day. Despite this, the US government gave the child abuser network Catholic church $1.5 billion of US taxpayer money.
The Catholic church talks about how they do so many charitable works and that’s why they need money. They say it’s critical to provide help to all those homeless people and poor people.
It’s funny how all these countries around the world only seemed to become poor after they were invaded by the Catholic church who robbed them of everything including their children. That’s what the Doctrine of Discovery was all about and that Doctrine of Discovery is still in effect all over the world.
The Doctrine of Discovery (in case you don’t know) was a series of Papal Bulls (that means highest Catholic law) issued from 1452 (just one year after Columbus landed in the “New World”) and onwards. These were laws ordering Christians to bring non-Christians to Christianity, while claiming all non-Christian lands for Christianity itself. It meant that Christians could commit whatever heinous crimes they wanted to any Black and brown person all over the world, including raping children, grand larceny, murder, slavery, and they would suffer no consequences from the church or their Christian God in Heaven (the one true god of their genocidal religion). This legalized the slave trade from Africa, the Americas, India, and the genocide of Indigenous peoples everywhere. You might think this is ancient history from somewhere else, but the USA used the Doctrine of Discovery to justify their own colonization of Indigenous land, even though they weren’t a Catholic country, and their founders were Protestants.
That’s why, no matter what, the Catholic church is never going to stop abusing children. Their power is absolute. They can commit the worst crimes and still operate all over the world with impunity.
The long term damage to the psyche of a child who has been abused, tortured, raped — and that trauma being compounded by a lifetime of gaslighting, victim blaming, demands for proof, religious indoctrination, and protecting rapists — all that damage leads to a destruction of a person’s sense of self, their identity, their self esteem, their will to live. That trauma comes out in multiple ways harming both them and possibly those around them. It leads to intergenerational trauma. That makes it very difficult for Indigenous peoples to fight back against colonialism, generation after generation.
Abusing children is thus a highly effective tactic to destroy a community’s future, steal their wealth, and control their land for good.
This is why the Catholic church will never stop raping children. It’s a foundational imperialist tactic to control the land.
The end result is that the Catholic church makes a lot of money. It’s the richest religion in the entire world for this reason. Christians as a whole, including Catholics, are estimated to hold 55% of the world’s wealth. The Catholic church is the world’s largest landowner, owning 70 million hectares. Do you really think they managed to do that because people all over the world became convinced that some Jewish random from the Middle East, who wasn’t born on December 25, “died for their sins”? Don’t be ridiculous. Christianity took control of the land through war, slavery, and abusing the most vulnerable of any community: Children.
While he was alive, Pope Francis asked forgiveness for the harm caused to the Indigenous peoples of the Americas. He didn’t apologize to any other Indigenous peoples, only the Americas. Even then, however, he was using empty words to cover up the fact that he ran an imperialist child rape cult, the world’s largest criminal empire in history.
When he asked “forgiveness” did the Catholic church give the land back? No. Did the Catholic church give the money back? No. Did the Catholic church dismantle the Vatican bank? No. Did the Catholic church give back their assets in fossil fuels and other corporations? No. Did the Catholic church bring any rapists, pedophiles, or child abusers to actual justice? No.
The fact that the Catholic church has the gall to say it does “charitable” works after thieving from and abusing the entire planet’s children, and continuing to thieve and abuse all the way till today, is just another example of what they really are.
If you think the Catholic church only stole land back in the age of Christopher Columbus, here they are using stolen money to take ownership of land in Ohio to continue raping Native children there.
Screenshot Image description: The Columbus Dispatch article headline in black font on a white background that reads: Columbus Catholic diocese pays $1 million for 16 acres in Sunbury by St. John Neumann. Article is dated below in grey font as Wed Aug 3, 2022.
These are some of the Native peoples who were genocided from Ohio, forced to migrate to Ohio, and forced to migrate from Ohio by colonizers. They are still not federally recognized in Ohio which means their treaty rights were never honored, which means that land is stolen.
Screenshot Image description: Black font on white background. First paragraphs reads: “Eventually, all of the five tribes that migrated to Ohio were forced into relocation elsewhere. Some descendants branched off and lived off-site from their communities, which ensured that some presence would remain in Ohio. Some founded nations are federally recognized communities on reservations in places like Oklahoma, Kansas, Mexico and Canada. Meanwhile, others are banding together to become federally recognized and receive government assistance and to keep their smaller communities alive.” Second paragraph reads: “Currently, there are no federally recognized tribal communities or nations in Ohio, but there are non-federally funded communities trying to stay connected to their ancestry and become federally recognized, such as the Munsee Delaware Indian Nation of Ohio and the Shawnee Nation United Remnant Band. Some Ohio universities are also putting out statements to acknowledge and show respect for the people who inhabited this land long before European settlers did. By understanding our region’s past and educating ourselves on the history of who lived here before colonization, we recognize and re-open the lost histories and stories that otherwise fall to threaten to be whitewashed or erased completely.”
Christianity as a religion controls the majority of countries and money around the world using precisely such colonizing tactics as the entitlement and child abuse and rape culture of the Doctrine of Discovery. It’s thus in their interests to employ pedophiles and protect those pedophiles.
Screenshot Image description: Map of the world on a white background with different colors for the countries according to religion. A color key in the bottom left explains the colors. Christianity dominates the planet with blue all over the Americas, Greenland, half of Africa, almost all of Europe, most of Russia, Australia, New Zealand and small Island nations. Islam dominates the most next with dark brown all over North Africa, the Middle East, Persia, and central Asia. Buddhism with yellow dominates east Asian countries of Tibet, half of China, Japan, etc. The other half of China is shown as Traditional Chinese with orange. India and Nepal are Hindu with light brown. Non-religious countries are shown with grey and are three small European countries. Israel is shown as Jewish with maroon. Strangely, there is another category called “Indigenous” that is in green, and shows very small areas in south East Asia, ignoring the Indigenous religions already listed. Small color coded pie charts at the bottom show the percentages of religions in Latin America, North America, Europe (all Christianity dominated), Africa (almost even split between Christianity and Islam with a small predominance of Indigenous), and Asia which is mixed (Islam, Hinduism, Traditional Chinese, Buddhism, non-religious, “Indigenous”, and Christianity).
The Catholic church is a very successful colonizing institution for precisely this reason. This is why they don’t care about public protests. The people could protest Canadian residential schools forever and the church will still hold the land, the money, and the children in their many schools and orphanages around the world. Just like they hold the school in Adelaide Australia where they openly displayed a pedophiliac statue for the children to look at. Why would they stop this behavior when it’s worked so well for them for over 1,600 years? They will continue because it pays.
The Native peoples of Ohio itself are not federally recognized, but the Catholic Church is federally recognized as a religious organization. Tax free and preying on everyone’s children.
This brazen imperialism is what we are up against and this is why the people must be brazen in their resistance. Organize in your communities to address this issue:
Take the land back from these colonizing imperialist child abusers.
Take the money back from the Vatican bank.
Take your children back and accept no apologies because imperialists don’t mean them and never will.
Never allow their criminal gang into your land or home for any reason.
Dismantle every Catholic school and orphanage and anything else that gives the Catholic church access to children.
The school in Adelaide Australia that was forced to cover up their pedophiliac statue had 2 teachers in 12 years jailed for sexually abusing children. That is only the number of teachers who got caught. Imagine how many teachers haven’t been caught yet through continuous coverups and “clemency” and “confessions”. Imagine how many pedophiles over how many years. Imagine how many children are survivors right now as a consequence. The sheer scale of their violence against children is mind-boggling.
Take action to stop it everywhere.
Take the land back.
