Yes, it’s Hindu colonial trauma, however, it’s taught me so much about my own colonial trauma, it’s taught me so much about imperialism, it’s taught me so much about supremacy in every aspect. This documentary has been lauded as a beautifully filmed true story of Indigenous Hindus and their attempt to rescue an orphaned baby elephant. It showcases the ancient and sacred Hindu connection to nature as Indigenous people and is one of the only non-Hinduphobic films to be made available in the west in recent times.
